Volvo launches EX30 Cargo electric commercial vehicle

Volvo has launched the EX30 Cargo, an electric commercial vehicle available exclusively to fleet customers.

The EX30 Cargo has a payload of 390kg and a load capacity of 1,000 litres, with a flat floor in place of the rear seats.

Prices start at £36,010.

Modified rear door panels, a work light, an underfloor subframe for securing items and a bulkhead behind the front seats have been fitted.

The rear doors have also been modified, enabling them to open wider for easier loading.

Vehicles are converted after production by Volvo Car UK, enabling both newly ordered and already-built EX30s to be converted to Cargo specification.

A Cargo variant of the EX30 Cross Country, with additional ground clearance, is also offered.

Volvo said the EX30 Cargo meets its strict safety standards and has undergone comprehensive testing.
