SO, this is a clue to what the new Volvo XC90 will look like – Volvo’s first teaser pictures of the its Concept XC Coupe.

The Volvo Concept XC Coupe will be shown at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) on January 13.

Volvo says the Concept XC Coupe blends its new design direction with contemporary Scandinavian lifestyle – and will also be full to the brim of safety kit when it eventually appears as the new XC90.

The Volvo XC90 is due to be replaced in 2014 – and about time. The evergreen SUV, famous for its ruggedness and seven seater practicality, was initially launched in 2003. So a replacement is overdue.
