Xpeng has updated the G6 for 2026, with interior and exterior styling tweaks, faster charging and the introduction of the range-topping AWD Performance Black Edition.
The updated G6 can charge at 451kW, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in 12 minutes.
A heat pump is now standard across the range, boosting the car’s efficiency during the winter, while heated, ventilated and massaging front seats have been added.
Xpeng said the updated G6 will be available during Q1 2026, with the car’s starting price remaining at £39,990.
A new front light bar and rear spoiler are among the 20,000 incremental developments in the updated car, with other changes made to chassis tuning, battery management and steering dynamics.
The G6 AWD Performance Black Edition will start at £49,990, with 487PS and a 0-62mph time of 4.1 seconds.
Xpeng has made a series of changes to the G6’s 80.8kWh battery, increasing its lifespan by 30%.
RWD Long Range and AWD Performance models now have a 9-inch digital rear-view mirror, while a wood-grain dash is now offered.
