Parcel locker operator YEEP! has reached a major milestone with the installation of its 1,000th live location, placing the latest unit at a Motor Fuel Group (MFG) forecourt in Haverhill at the end of May.
The installation marks a significant moment in YEEP!’s national rollout, combining the accessibility of MFG’s 24/7 retail forecourts with YEEP!’s battery-operated, plug-free lockers. The companies say the partnership reflects the growing role of parcel lockers in everyday consumer routines, offering secure, out-of-home delivery solutions in high-footfall, convenient locations.
“Crossing the 1,000-locker mark is a big moment for YEEP!, but what matters most is where we’re placing them,” Noël Shapton, CEO of YEEP!, said. “This locker isn’t just a number. It’s another step toward making delivery and returns genuinely easy for people, right where they already are – in this case, fuelling up, grabbing a coffee, or on their daily commute.”
MFG, the UK’s largest independent forecourt operator, is investing £170m in 2025 to develop its sites into full-service travel destinations. With over 100 YEEP! lockers already installed across its estate and more to follow, the company is integrating parcel services alongside EV charging, food-to-go outlets and valeting operations.
“Customers expect more from their local forecourt, it needs to deliver maximum convenience and a secure, 24/7 parcel locker fits naturally within our retail eco system, adding huge value to our offering without adding complexity,” said Adam Wadlow, chief investment officer at MFG. “We are delighted to be growing YEEP!’s network, providing our customers with a safe, highly accessible parcel locker facility.”
YEEP! lockers are supplied by kernTerminal and designed for quick deployment, requiring only a level surface. The units need no power or groundwork, enabling rapid expansion. Hosts benefit from guaranteed income and increased customer visits with no installation cost or disruption.
The Haverhill installation is part of a broader expansion supported by a major partnership with DPD, which will see 8,000 new lockers added to the YEEP! network over the next five years.
