Zapmap, the electric vehicle (EV) charger locator, has launched an EV charging card.

The card works at more than 40,000 charge points, from 30 providers, allowing EV drivers to pay with either the Zapmap app, or a physical card.

The EV charging card is now available to Zapmap Premium Annual subscribers for a fee, with it set to release for all Zapmap users later in the summer.

Users can view session details and receipts through the Zapmap app.

Melanie Shufflebotham, chief operating officer at Zapmap, said: “We’re here to help drivers charge with confidence – and the new charging card makes that even easier.

“Whether you’re using your phone or tapping your card, paying with Zapmap fits around your journey.”

Over the last year, Zapmap has more than doubled the number of charge points where drivers can pay in its app.
