Lower running costs for all-new Honda Accord

The all-new Honda Accord will cost less to run when it goes on sale from June.

Predicted service, maintenance and repair (SMR) costs are lower for the new model than the outgoing Accord.

Savings over three years and 60,000 miles are in excess of L260.

For example, the SMR for the old-style Honda Accord 2.0 Type S was L1578 over three years. The equivalent new Honda Accord 2.0 ES GT costs just L1315 – a L263 saving.

The savings on the new diesel Accord are less, but still worthwhile. The SMR for the old-style Honda Accord 2.2 Sport GT was L1545 over three years. The equivalent new Honda Accord 2.2 ES GT costs just L1427 – a L118 saving.

Not only have the in-life costs of the new Honda Accord improved, but the average predicted residual value (RV) across the range has increased by a massive 23%.
