Marcus Puddy has launched Puddy Vehicle Solutions (PVS)

THE former commercial vehicle director at Lex Autolease has gone out on his own to launch Puddy Vehicle Solutions (PVS). Puddy plans to provide advisory and management services to businesses operating company vehicles and also to offer consultancy to contract hire and leasing companies, manufacturers and dealers.

PVS will also offer fleet consultancy and the company’s range of services will extend to including in-life management recommendation implementation, and fleet decision-maker training; it will also be targeting motor manufacturers and dealer groups to help them and their employees better understand fleet sector requirements and improve new car sale conversion rates.

The company will be working with fleet service providers to deliver a number of solutions from interim roles through to consultancy days, supporting an organisation’s desire to grow, work on retention, procurement and selling services to different parts of the UK economy from large corporates to brokers and SMEs.

Marcus’s has worked in the industry for 25 years, with posts that have included managing the 6,600-strong Lloyds TSB Bank company car fleet along with its 6,000 grey fleet drivers. Most recently, he held the senior position of commercial vehicle director at Lex Autolease.

Andrew Hogsden, a chartered accountant with more than 25 years commercial experience in the asset finance and fleet industries, will be handling PVS’s financial work – Andrew has most recently led the Lex Autolease fleet consultancy team for five years.

Marcus said;

“I want to provide consultancy but then take that next step and support those companies with implementation and make the recommendations work with their suppliers and their employees to ensure a smooth transition, whilst ensuring that any identified savings are realised and recorded.
