The Grandland feels pretty good both around town and on the motorway. In the city you really appreciate the benefit of light steering and silent running, and to be fair it remains pretty quiet when the engine kicks on or when are in the cruise. Altogether comfortable ride - this is not a car to throw enthusiastically around the bends.
It’s electric. The Vauxhall Vivaro-e is one of three new electric vans, along with the Citroen e-Dispatch and Peugeot e-Expert, which share the same running gear. All three share similar prices and specification and boast longer ranges and better prices than most rivals, notably from Germany.
With all manner of lease deals, PCPs and PCHs etc giving Vauxhall’s traditional business market easier access to the German premiums, the Insignia has grown in size with its latest facelift – up 55mm in length and a surprising 92mm in wheelbase pushing into VW Passat or Peugeot 508 territory.
Crossland X is a spacious, practical and economical family car that offers a surprising amount of space and better looks than the Meriva MOV it replaced.
