While Ford is keen to sell the Ranger Raptor as some kind of ultimate off-road machine, the engine choice is slightly odd, but then Europe is a very difference market to North America.
Latest generation technologies help ensure new Fiesta is better equipped for intelligent, connected driving experiences. LED headlights are for the first time introduced to all Fiesta variants, with advanced Matrix LED technology available that offers Glare-Free High Beam functionality and can also adapt headlight beam patterns for better visibility in challenging conditions.
Originally launched 16 years ago, the S-Max has stood the test of time and is now in only its second generation. Three engines are available, two diesels – both 2.0-litres, one with 148bhp and the other with 187bhp. The lower powered diesel comes with front-wheel drive and either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed auto, the more powerful motor gets the option of all-wheel drive and the eight-speed as standard.
The new king for Ford, and all manufacturers, is SUV – and electric. And Ford has come into this area with a big bang, the Mustang Mach E. A big muscle machine, albeit a quiet one, with an iconic name and a very affordable price.
It’s the petrol-electric version of Ford’s big-selling Mondeo and the brand’s answer to the likes of the Volkswagen Passat GTE, Lexus IS 300h and Toyota Prius.
