“Prestige has expertise in invoice validation, management of vehicle downtime, and incident management – this will ensure that our customers are returned to the road as quickly and efficiently as possible.”

Prestige’s Unity fleet management system was one of the reasons behind the choice – this provides tracks a vehicle’s position and progress through the SMR process, helping to keep downtime to a minimum.

Prestige has trading in the fleet servicing sector since 2007 and has 242 outlets nationwide specialising in providing low cost servicing solutions to fleet operators. The company has a target to have around 300 outlets by the end of 2015.

All of the independent Prestige service centres have industry recognised quality accreditation, and parts that are used are of equivalent quality to manufacturer’s original equipment. All offer labour rates that are significantly cheaper than main franchise dealers, as well as nationally negotiated oil prices.

Prestige will be providing static and mobile SMR coverage for Autorama Extra customers, after first evaluating which is the best option to get them back on the road as quickly as possible.

Prestige Commercial Director, Joe Bhamra, said;

“We are delighted to be appointed to provide the service, maintenance and repair facility behind the exciting new Autorama Extra proposition.

“With our accredited static service centre network plus our mobile servicing solutions, we can decide on a job-by-job basis which is the best option for Autorama Extra customers and which will ensure their vehicles spend the least time off the road.

“We can also ensure that Autorama Extra customers benefit from the most cost-effective labour and parts prices, as well as extremely competitive rates for oils, thanks to our national oil agreement with Fuchs, the world’s largest independent lubricants manufacturer.”
