DEVELOPMENT of the new 20-acre multi-million pound BCA Birmingham remarketing and logistics facility at Perry Barr, Birmingham, is nearing completion with the first sales due to take place in October.

With the grand opening event on 13 October featuring stock from BMW Group and Alphabet, further sales have been announced including an Audi Select Sale on 19 October and a VWFS Signature Sale on 21 October.

The new purpose-built site at Perry Barr enables BCA to extend its physical and digital remarketing offering, delivering a range of de-fleet, inspection, preparation, refurbishment, appraisal post-valet and logistics services.

Remarketing facilities will include three auction lanes plus a state-of-the-art digital auction suite. There is undercover viewing for 450 vehicles, and commitment from a wide range of vendors including fleet operators, finance companies, leasing and contract hire, dealer groups and manufacturers to support the programme of sales.

There is ample customer parking for over 400 vehicles, a restaurant and business suites, and a full range of buyer services.

BCA have also announced the cornerstone management team responsible for driving the sales programme at BCA Birmingham – Perry Barr.

Dominic Burr is the general manager for the new facility, supported by Tina Harper, sales manager, Riarna Sharma, business administration manager, Tom Mannion as operations manager, Emma Webb, transport manager, and Louise Jacobs, yard manager.

Around 200 jobs will be created at the centre, ranging from technical, operational and administrative roles, to inspectors and vehicle preparation staff.
