BCA MARKETPLACE has announced plans for BCA to build a dedicated VW Group de-fleet centre after Volkswagen Group chose BCA Fleet Solutions as its long term de-fleet and refurbishment partner.
As part of the new long term contract, BCA will commence the build of a new, dedicated De-Fleet Centre in Corby, Northants, for the VW Group.
The Corby De-Fleet Centre will be the first purpose-built, large scale, dedicated de-fleet and refurbishment facility to be built to serve the UK industry for many years. The development will include the latest systems, processes and technology to create a centre of excellence that will form the blueprint for future BCA operations.
BCA have confirmed that Tony Booth, the MD of BCA Fleet Solutions, will transfer from his current position to take on the management of this significant project for BCA. Booth has many years of technical experience and has previously delivered similar projects for Blue Chip customers. He will report to BCACFO, Tim Lampert to deliver the new facility to specification, on-time and to budget.
BCA will announce details of a replacement to lead the day-to-day business of BCA Fleet Solutions in the near future.
