Drive Software Solutions announces board and management appointments

Drive provides the ODO Dashboard, based on Oracle technology, to Fleet Managers, Electric Vehicle Charging Networks, and Car Rental Companies across Europe with a particular focus on the UK. Post-COVID, Drive has won several new clients as the wider automotive industry shifts to the Mobility Ecosystem, where “use” is the preferred option over “ownership”.

DRIVE Software Solutions, provider of fleet management platforms to the Electric Vehicle ecosystem, has announced Board and Executive Appointments coinciding with the opening of the Company’s Swiss Office, new client wins,
and further investment from VIVA Investment Partners.

Scott Fulton, Co-Chief Investment Officer of VIP, and a Capital Markets professional with experience in the UK, Switzerland, and the UAE, joins the Board of Drive Software Solutions as Chairman. He will work with Dr Julie Meyer, Chief Executive of VIP, who led the acquisition of Drive Software Solutions in November 2019, and the subsequent repositioning of the firm towards EV’s, mobility and Europe.

Khasha Mekanik, an experienced technology investor and entrepreneur will be Drive’s Global Head of Business Development, working alongside Rob Gorby, Chief Commercial Officer at Drive since April 2020. Mekanik has led a number of investment funds, providing capital to growth orientated companies. He remains active in this market and brings unparalleled experience in developing companies from finance to revenue. As part of his role, Drive
is in the process of recruiting more sales managers and function directors due to the demand for its solutions.

Tim Shields, an experienced technologist, who has worked in the financial services, security, and enterprise SaaS ecosystems for over 20 years has joined Drive as Chief Technology Officer. Starting his career at Logica, Shields has had technology leadership roles with Money Dashboard, Vehnet, Trendzer, and RSTO. He will be working with Dave Pegg, Director of Technology and Architecture at Drive who has worked at the firm for 32 years.
