VAN rental firm Easirent expands by adding 40 new vans to its fleet to meet the demand in the North as it prepares to open four new branches across the country.

To accommodate hirers’ demand for larger vehicles for house removals and heavy duty deliveries, Easirent has added Vauxhall Combos, Ford Transits, Peugeot Boxers and Citroen Relay Lutons to the fleet which comprises a range of van sizes and models plus minibuses.

Easirent has an extensive network of branches, covering England, Scotland and London, and now expanding to the South-West and Northern Ireland.

Concentrating on transport hubs, van rental centres are at Edinburgh, Speke and Manchester airports, Edinburgh, Manchester Piccadilly and London Kings Cross railway stations, Glasgow city centre, Liverpool Port and Bootle, Merseyside.

The new branches opening in the first quarter of 2017 are at Shrewsbury, Peterborough, Exeter and Belfast City Airport.

Easirent fleet manager Brian Smith said: “We appreciate that people need to hire larger vehicles for a number of reasons, be it family, work or unexpected circumstances.

“We want to be there, offering the cheapest rates, anywhere in the country, on short notice so as not to let our customers down. By replenishing the fleet and keeping all the vehicles healthy, under mileage and in good condition – we should be able to do so for many years to come.”
