EMPLOYEE benefit car company Tusker has appointed senior marketer Paul Gilshan to head Tusker marketing in the new role of chief marketing officer.
Gilshan will lead all marketing initiatives for market leader Tusker and report directly to CEO David Hosking. He joins with an impressive CV of high profile consumer marketing roles for media companies including Sky, The Times, ITV and more recently satellite TV platform Freesat, where he was marketing and communications director.
Tusker is well known for its high levels of customer service which, unusually for the car leasing industry, focus on the driver rather than the employer.
A customer services focused company which manages fleets of cars for organisations within the public and private sectors, it is pioneering an easier and more cost effective way for employees to run a car via its salary sacrifice car scheme SS4C.
Gilshan’s experience in B2C marketing in the media industry will strengthen Tusker’s consumer-led strategy.
Commenting on his appointment, Gilshan said: “It’s an exciting time to join Tusker, the company has experienced several years of strong growth yet retains a fresh, ambitious outlook. I’m looking forward to working with the talented team at Tusker to drive the business forward with a clear focus on our customers’ needs.”
CEO David Hosking said: “We created the new role of chief marketing officer to strengthen our strategic marketing capabilities and continue to deliver best in class communications for our customers.
“We are delighted that we have attracted someone of Paul’s calibre, as he shares our ambitions for the company and our vision of extending our marketing influence into new media outlets.”
