PUDDY Vehicle Solutions (PVS) has appointed Kelly Podbury as PVS business manager to support the company’s continued expansion

Mrs Podbury’s main responsibilities will be to support the day-to-day activities of the business, new business development, office management, PR and marketing.

She joins from Weston College of Further and Higher Education in Weston-Super-Mare, where she worked in the creative arts faculty managing the administration team.

PVS was launched 18 months ago by Marcus Puddy, who has a near 30-year fleet industry career behind him.

Prior to launching PVS, Marcus was commercial vehicles director at Lex Autolease, and also had responsibility for managing the 6,600-strong Lloyds TSB Bank company car fleet.

PVS won the New Business of the Year title in the 2016 Somerset Business Awards after identifying how clients could make savings totalling more than £64 million across their fleet operations by implementing a wide range of best practice efficiencies.

Mr Puddy said: “With her professional and ‘can do’ approach I know she will delight customers and support the company’s ongoing commitment in providing the best service to all.”

Mrs Podbury, who started in the Royal Navy as a communicator with ships and shore establishments around the world, added: “I work hard at building relationships and ensure every job is done professionally and proficiently.”
