Essential criteria for an Alphabet Partner

  • It is essential that brokers understand and know their customer base
  • Brokers must to be financially stable
  • High levels of customer retention are required
  • Brokers must have a firm understanding of the FCA
  • Brokers need to have high-maintenance penetration
  • Brokers should always focus on quality and adding value
  • Brokers should not be concentrating on selling higher volumes at lower cost
  • Brokers must not have third parties to retain channel exclusivity
  • Staff longevity is taken into consideration
  • Geographic location and differing routes-to-market are considered to ensure that there is no conflict crossover between brokers

Why have some brokers been rejected for Alphabet Partnership?

Alphabet worked very hard to set criteria that would result in a group of close-knit partners that would work together to complement and help the company achieve its business goals.

Some brokers unfortunately, were not deemed a suitable fit for Alphabet at the time of selection – however, this does not mean that in the future this cannot change, says Alphabet.

There are no current plans to increase the number of brokers but Alphabet has not ruled out that at a later date this may not change.

For example, if programme growth requires additional Partners, or if existing Partners do not perform to the required standards and an opening should arise, an opportunity to apply may be become available.

If your company would like to take advantage of any future opportunities, get in touch with the contacts listed below, stay in touch and demonstrate how and why they think they’re the right fit for Alphabet.
