The RS features the Ford Performance All-Wheel-Drive system

THIS is it, the latest Focus to wear the legendary RS badge, packing an expected 320bhp, with a sophisticated and lightweight four-wheel drive system.

The new bodywork includes that mouthy front air dam and grille, designed to help aid the cooling of the reworked 2.3-litre Ecoboost engine

Highlight of the Ford’s stand at the Geneva Motor Show next month, the new Focus RS is distinguished by its sporty bodykit.

The new bodywork includes that mouthy front air dam and grille, designed to help aid the cooling of the reworked 2.3-litre Ecoboost engine, chunky side skirts, while at the back again there’s another revised rear air dam and a laity roof spoiler.

We didn’t get a close look at the new Focus RS’s interior, but it’s not difficult to spot those Recaro high backed sports seats. Other standard equipment includes the 19-inch alloy wheels and the Brembo brakes.

Exact technical and equipment details will be announced at Geneva next month, with prices expected to start at under £30,000
