Nissan GB has announced the appointment of a new fleet director as it continues to accelerate its plans for a fully electrified range of vehicles tailored to business users.
Marco Capozzoli, who has worked at Nissan for nearly six years and has a broad range of leasing, finance and vehicle rental experience, will take on the new position with immediate effect. He succeeds Csaba Vincze, who has taken on the role of director of network development and customer quality.
Capozzoli said: “I’d like to continue the mid-term fleet strategy with special focus on the dealer network and maximise our performance through sales channel optimisation. With a newly launched range of fantastic, electrified vehicles, including the fully electric Ariya and Townstar compact van, these are exciting times for Nissan GB.
“With our ten-year heritage in electric vehicles, we have valuable experience to help businesses that are looking to cut their carbon footprint and transition to a zero-emission fleet. I look forward to this exciting challenge and continuing to help our customers embrace the electrified era.”
Capozzoli has worked as Nissan GB’s National Dealer Fleet Manager for nearly six years, with responsibility for managing national SME business sales performance and recently establishing a national van sales strategy. Prior to this, he worked in a number of roles at VW Group Leasing, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and Hertz.

Capozzoli takes up his new role as Nissan accelerates plans for a fully electrified line-up, with Juke Hybrid and e-POWER versions of Qashqai and X-Trail all launching in the last 18 months.
These exciting new models join Nissan’s established fully electric models – LEAF and Ariya – and the Townstar EV, arriving this year.
With a class-leading range of 183 miles (WLTP combined), the all-new Townstar EV is designed to help commercial vehicle customers future-proof their business operations and help them adapt to changing emission regulations, increased urbanisation and the growth of e-commerce.
It builds on the success of the e-NV200, Nissan’s previous all-electric compact van and a former UK best-seller, and features a payload capacity of up to 800kg plus cargo space that’s large enough even on short wheelbase versions to carry two Euro pallets.
It offers both AC charging (11 kW or 22 kW) and DC CCS quick-charging, the latter of which enables users to charge the battery from 15% to 80% in as little as 37 minutes.
Like all Nissan LCVs it also comes with an industry-leading five-year or 100,000-mile warranty, demonstrating Nissan’s continued commitment to quality. The Townstar EV expands on this offering with an 8-year warranty on the battery state of health up to 70%.
