STEVE Roberts is new head of MINI corporate and used cars, strengthening its corporate sales team.
This new role reflects MINI’s growing success in the corporate market, with the recent launches of five-door MINI and Clubman models over the last two-years.
Steve Roberts joins MINI for this role from sister brand BMW, where he was product operations manager. As head of corporate and used cars, Steve will oversee the existing corporate sales team, with a renewed focus on broadening MINI’s reach in the corporate and SME sectors.
Talking of his appointment Steve said: “I am thrilled to be joining the corporate sales team at what is a very exciting and fast-paced time for MINI.
“Since the launch of the five-door hatch in September 2014, we have seen MINI’s influence in the corporate sector rise exponentially, and after a successful first year of the new MINI Clubman, we know there’s a lot more good news to come.”
Sadly, at the same time as Robert’s appointment, MINI have announced the departure of corporate development manager, James Morrison.
Thankfully James will be staying with the MINI brand, in his new role as regional sales manager, London Region. News on James’s successor will follow this autumn.
