In its last fiscal year, April 2018 to March this year it sold 38,500 vehicles, it’s second highest total ever in the UK and has hit its highest ever market share of 1.7%.
Ed Norman, Suzuki GB’s product planning chief said that brand awareness is also at an all-time high.

He added: “This is true fleet business and not daily rental or short cycle business. Overall sales are running 17% up in a market that is down 3% in the first five months of the year.
“Why? Because we have the right models for the market at the moment, small cars and small SUVs.”
He was speaking at the launch of a model update of the Suzuki Swift, the brand’s most important car globally.
Norman added: “We currently have a database of 80,000 current and used Swift owners in the UK and retail sales of this model stand at 3,836 so far this year.
“As well as having the right models for the market, our success is built on providing great value for money with high levels of standard specification.”
