VANARAMA, the UK’s largest independent van leasing broker which recently branched out with car leasing specialist Cararama and sponsors the Business Vans’ Van of the Year Awards, has been crowned SME Business of the Year at the National Business Awards.
These honours are backed by the government and presented by Lloyds Bank.
Last year Vanarama won the awards for Best Van Leasing and Best Marketing in the Small Fleet Leasing Federation’s Small Fleet Leasing Awards.
The company, founded by Andy Alderson in 2007, has enjoyed a record year, with sales growing by 56% and profitability up by 145%.
With headquarters in Hemel Hempstead, the business currently employs just under 100 staff and has regional representatives covering 51 territories across the UK.
Alderson said: “We are truly thrilled to be crowned winners of the SME Business of the Year award. It’s a real testament to the hard work put in by all our staff across the whole business.
“We couldn’t be happier to win but won’t rest on our laurels. We have ambitious plans to grow the business by 40% over the next 12 months.”
