Commonly known as road tax, but in actual fact it’s Vehicle Excise Duty or VED.
These are the rates announced in Budget 2012. Euro IV emissions standards for vans became mandatory for all vehicles registered after December 31, 2006. The rates for light commercial vehicles for 2012/13 are:
