Richard Balshaw: small businesses as important to Toyota as the big corporates

Avensis moves in to challenge Passat

At the end of last year, Toyota launched its new Avensis to the major corporate buyers who run large fleets.

Of course, this is important to Toyota. And I was invited along to attend, and drive a car away from the event for test (see Toyota Avensis: Mr Reliability comes dressed in a new suit). But what about small businesses?

Richard Balshaw has been running the Toyota Fleet operation for the past year. So what about the small business market, I asked Richard? Big fleet discount stuff is of no interest to the small business owner.
