184 – Cutting business car costs in a recession

Share

5 May 2009

How far should you go?

We all want to save costs at the moment. It’s critical for business survival.

Ross Jackson’s 10-point action plan for cutting costs on your business cars is very useful. (You can read it here: How to cut business car costs in a recession.)

However, I do realies it is aimed at larger businesses with maybe at least 25 business cars. Ross’s Fleet Operations fleet management consultancy is aimed at that minimum level.

Nevertheless, there are some extremely good points in there that are worth reading – and adapting to your use – for micro businesses with between 1-10 vehicles.

The key point is challenging the status quo. Do that, and you will almost certainly save money.
