225 – Family help with washing the cars

Share

15 June 2009

It’s always handy when your kids offer to help out. On Sunday, Sarah got stuck in to washing down our new Fiat 500.

We’ve got the car on Fiat finance on a four-year PCP deal – at under £140 a month. At that price it was a no-brainer – and some 16 years since my wife, Alison, last had a new car!

The Fiat 500 Lounge is in that fantastic retro white colour. But white gets dirty easily, and it’s not helped by the sap from the silver birch tree that leaves its sticky goo over the car – no matter where we park it. Thanks to Sarah, the 500 was returned to a gleaming white again.
