238 – Take advantage of free driver training

Share

6 July 2009

IF you are a small business and employ young drivers then seriously look at this: RoSPA’s offer of free driver training workshops for young drivers.

There’s no charge. And you could prevent one of your younger staff from being in an accident; or creating an accident.

One in three crashes involve drivers at work. And younger drivers are particularly vulnerable.

Regular readers of this blog will recall that I’m putting my son, Matt, on the DriveTech Advantage course to learn to drive. This Advantage course isn’t about just passing your test. It’s about training a set of skills that a young driver can use and develop throughout their life. One in three young drivers is involved in a fatality. Clearly, we are not equipping them with a relevant enough skill set. This is your chance as a small business to make a difference.

See the story Free training offer for young drivers at work for details on how to take advantage of the RoSPA offer.
