National Atesa hire car: first chance in a C4

Car rental provides new experience

I’ve just returned from the family holiday in Spain.

Which is why it’s been quiet on the blogging front. But hopefully the businessmotoring.co.uk team has kept you up to date with news in the meantime.

Anyway, it was a good holiday. We picked up our rental car from National Atesa at Valencia airport, having booked it through National Car Rental.

It was on site, and very easy to pick up, and spotlessly clean. The car was a black Citroen C4diesel. A model I’ve not had the chance to drive before.

And very impressive it was, too. Highly economical, quiet and with a suspension system that could deal with the ruts of Spain’s worst roads and not just the super-smooth EU-funded motorways. Judging by the number of Citroens on the road, it’s a popular brand in Spain.

We were staying at my sister-in-law’s brand new apartment in a little village
