THE Headlineauto news boys are over in Detroit at the moment for the Detroit Motor Show and sent me over some details I thought you might find interesting.

Let’s start with Audi who unveiled their all-new Audi A6 which is coming to the UK in May. Audi chose the North American show, simply because the company has so much product coming out this year it was the nearest available show to demonstrate the new product!

What a problem!

More of a surprise was the appearance of a hybrid version. The 211PS, 2.0-litre turbo hybrid uses the same powertrain as the Q5 hybrid; The 211bhp 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine is mated with an electric motor that generates 45hp to offer fuel economy of around 40mpg.

Jaguar could do with some of Audi’s issues, mind you. With only three models
