Audi is expanding the all-new A4 range with the introduction of S line specification A4 models.
The Audi A4 S line features lowered sports suspension – by 30mm – and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The Audi A4 S line models are identified by front and rear bumper styling, extended side skirts, and upgraded xenon headlamps featuring Audi’s LED daytime running lights.
The interior features part-leather S line sports seats, a three-spoke S line multifunction steering wheel and matt brushed aluminium inlays.
The Audi A4 S line specification costs an additional £2500 over an equivalent A4 SE model.
New entry-level Audi A4 1.8 TFSI model
In addition to A4 S line trim, a new model is being introduced.
The £19,890 A4 1.8 TFSI is powered by the all-new 1.8-litre turbo FSI engine in 120PS power tune and standard specification.
The Audi A4 1.8 TFSI 120PS will sprint from 0-62mph in 10.5 seconds, but has 39.8mpg fuel economy.
CO2 output is 169g/km, placing the Audi A4 1.8 TFSI 120PS in the 21% tax band for the 2008/09 tax year.
Standard specification includes electromechanical parking brake, 16-inch alloy wheels, and electronic climate control.
The Audi A4 1.8 TFSI 120PS is available only with a six-speed manual gearbox. An automatic version – using Audi’s Multitronic gearbox – will be available in the A4 1.8 TFSI but with 160PS power output.
