A new scheme has been launched by BVRLA-approved car leasing broker Central Contracts. The duty of care product helps small businesses tackle motoring related health and safety issues.
Called Fleet Monitor, the duty of care programme costs just £50 per month for small business fleets of 1-10 vehicles.
For small businesses with more vehicles the cost goes up to £75 per month for 11-15 vehicles; and £99 for 26-50 vehicles.
Among the benefits of Fleet Monitor are driving licence DVLA checks, projected service and maintenance dates, plus a dedicated number for employees involved in an accident, which commences an audit trail on the vehicle involved.
“Fleet Monitor provides peace of mind to small businesses,” commented Mike Lloyd, managing director, Central Contracts.
“There’s no such thing as a health and safety invisibility cloak, but Fleet Monitor demonstrates that you have taken every possible step to run your fleet in a safe manner.
“There are usually running cost benefits, too. Because the system ensures timely maintenance requirements are met.”
