Story: MATT MORTON
Andy Wady, the former Audi man turned Citroen fleet director, has left the company for an appointment outside Citroen. His place will be taken by Martin Hamill, who was Citroen’s head of commercial vehicles & business sector.
Reporting to managing director Linda Jackson, Martin is Citroen’s new fleet director with additional responsibility for remarketing.
Martin, 45, commented on his appointment: “I’m delighted to take up this important role at such an exciting time for the Citroen brand. The introduction of the DS line and initiatives like our Business Class programme have changed the way we’re perceived right across the industry.
“We will continue to develop our fleet offering and service levels, and I look forward to working closely with my team so that we further build our presence and therefore volumes in the years to come.”
With 13 years’ experience at Citroen, Martin has looked after Citroen’s Midlands-based company car and van business before moving on to become commercial manager, and national fleet operations manager.
There is no business car news on who will take Martin’s position as head of commercial vehicle and business sales.
