LIKE the idea of a Kodiaq, but want it sportier? Well, Skoda must have thought the same, as an additional model to the big SUV range is Kodiaq Sportline and its first outing was the Geneva Motor Show.
Outside, you’ll spot the Kodiaq Sportline by the radiator grille, roof rails, door mirror housings and side window trims all finished in black while the rear window and rear side windows are tinted.
In addition 19-inch alloy wheels in a special new design as standard. 20-inch optional wheels are also available, while the rear of the car is enhanced by a narrow silver-coloured trim below the bumper.
Based on the SE trim level, the Sportline adds Alcantara sports seats (driver’s side electronically adjustable including memory function) with silver-coloured stitching and a leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel. This has Driving Mode Select (Normal, Sport, Eco, Individual, Comfort, Snow).
There is also automatic transmission, power steering, air conditioning, electronically adjustable and foldable door mirrors with dip and memory function, rear-view mirror with rain sensor and dip function, a Maxi DOT display and LED ambient lighting for the interior.
The Kodiaq Sportline is available with 1.4 and 2.0-litre TSi petrol, plus 15 and 190PS 2,0-litre TDi diesels and two- and four-wheel drive. It will be available later in the year.
