LEASING company Arval is aiming to grow sales in the SME sector the addition of its new UK Webstore site which will allow users to quote leasing options online.
Currently, the UK Webstore simply offers a search facility and pricing options. However, in the next few months, this will move toward the Webstore that is used in the French market (pictured), which allows Arval to showcase alternative cars and customers to shop by price, not just by make and model.
Mike Waters, Head of SME Marketing, explained to Business Car Manager;
“Arval Webstore is an easy to use, multi-make car configurator providing useful information to help businesses decide which vehicles best suits their needs and quote on them. It includes 40 makes and 500 models and has been live in the UK since April this year.
“The full version of Arval Webstore is already available with Arval in France – the UK version will be enhanced to adopt this full functionality throughout the year.”
But the question for many will be what about existing brokers?
Mike Waters continued;
“The UK SME market is large enough to support a multi-channel distribution strategy and for all parties to co-exist in a mutually beneficial way, as it always has done.”
