What’s not?
- No Audi is ever cheap and this TDI 190 Ultra engine will only be available in the costlier Sport and S line trims, with prices starting from £31,000 in Sport trim.
- One of the big issues with the last A4 was its offset driving position, which proved uncomfortable for some drivers. We found the left-hand driving position of the new A4 really comfortable – but how will that translate to right-hand drive?
- On top of the driving position issues, there’s a question mark over how the new A4 will ride on UK roads.
The Verdict for the Audi A4 2.0 TDi 190 Ultra review
The last Audi A4 sold as much on its premium image and quality as it did on any of its other features.
The latest model offers much more for SME buyers, as it is still a premium product but in addition, is now so much better to drive. It has a spacious interior and is affordable to run with the (awaiting official confirmation), 17% company car tax band, 99 g/km emissions and 72.4mpg combined fuel consumption.
We just hope that all the driving and dynamic promise translates to the right-hand drive build.
