Verdict: The A6 Ultra’s huge range of talents make it surprisingly difficult to find fault with.
Business Car Manager verdict
Up until now the 5 Series has always been an easy choice for people looking to buy an efficient car in this class. It may just be a new engine rather than a complete facelift but Audi has certainly done enough to make us think twice about recommending the BMW. The A6 ultra is refined, efficient, comfortable and high quality and its huge range of talents make it surprisingly difficult to find fault with it. Ultimately, it’s not as fun in the bends as the BMW but it is more comfortable and there will be a lot of people to whom that matters a great deal.
