Business Car Manager verdict
As well as changing the name, BMW has upgraded the package in this new coupe based on the 1 Series saloon.
It looks chic, is reasonably practical for a coupe and it drives really well. Nothing else in the price bracket can top it for engaging driving behaviour.
Worth considering if you can cope with only two doors and want some style as well as good driving calibre.
Company car tax is £86 a month for a basic rate tax payer, and with its combination of a 0-62 time of 7.2 seconds and 59mpg economy, we can see business buyers lapping them up.
