IF you’re a business car manager, then you may have come across the the Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM) before.
If not, the ICFM is the UK’s only independent not-for-profit organisation dedicated to furthering the education, recognising the achievements and advancing the profession of car fleet management.
So now you know – mainly for larger corporates but of relevance to bigger SME fleets.
Anyway, to bolster its ranks, the ICFM has appointed Stephen Chater, the corporate operations manager at BMW, to its Council.
Chairman of the ICFM, Roddy Graham, commented: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome Steve Chater on board. Steve is a very well-known figure within the fleet industry and has a strong background in fleet training which will prove invaluable to the Institute as we develop our education and training offer further.
“I know Steve is extremely passionate about the importance of training in personal career development and enhancing job roles by delivering added value benefits. I am sure that his contribution while serving on our Council will be immense.”
