Small businesses are increasingly benefiting from big company services.

These include specialist services such as accident management and green fleet consultancy.

According to Network – the Leaseplan broker franchise business – these services are now being offered with greater frequency by car brokers.

And small businesses are taking advantage of these services as small businesses start thinking more like big fleets. And car leasing brokers offer a more professional service.

“This is a very important development. It highlights a small business market that’s beginning to pay attention to more issues than simply cost control,” commented Jo Elms, brand director, Network.

“Running a small number of vehicles is no reason to miss out on the long term benefits of relevant extra services, such as maintenance packages or green fleet consultancy.

“Cost will of course always be important. But the best brokers are now properly laying out the benefits of extra services to their clients. This enables them to generate real value, not just the cheapest short-term solutions.”
