Top marks of new A Class

  • Dynamic Select changes ride from Sport to Comfort;
  • 180d engine boasts BIK friendly 89g/km of CO2;
  • F1 Motorsport Edition for 220d
  • Orders taken from 3 July 2015.

A FACE-LIFT for the Mercedes-Benz A Class may not be a game-changer but it now allows you to ‘change your game’ with driving modes to cover sports or a comfort ride.

With Dynamic Select the driver is able to change the car’s characteristics at the touch of a button and there’s also a bigger range of available engines.

For the BIK conscious company car driver the A Class now comes with a new eco-warrior motor in the shape of the the 109hp A 180d with CO2 emissions of just 89 g/km.

Also new to the range is the A 220d 4MATIC with its “Motorsport Edition” using dramatic design touches echoing the style of the MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 team.

Visual changes include:

  • More arrow-shaped front bumper;
  • Diamond grille;
  • Newly designed rear lights with exhaust tailpipes integrated into the bumper;
  • Optional LED headlights.

An instrument cluster of tubular design with high-quality dial graphics and galvanised switches upgrades the quality interior, as does the large, free-standing and frameless display of the head unit. Ambience lighting which can be individualised with twelve colours and five dimming levels and new seat cushion depth adjustment by up to 60 mm.

The new-generation A-Class can be ordered from 3 July 2015. The first models will be in dealer showrooms at the end of September.
