Citroen focuses on better service for small business sector

CITROEN has virtually completed the roll-out of its small business focused Business Centres across the UK.

Following a L1m plus investment over three years, Citroen plans to complete its 90th Business Centre by the end of the year – which will be virtually half its dealer network.

The new Business Centres are key to supporting small businesses who require either business cars or business vans for their trading requirements. The Business Centres promise higher levels of sales and aftersales service along with car and van finance experts.

Business Centres feature additional facilities – such as while you wait service lounges – along with a broader range of Citroen cars and vans, including the specialist Ready to Run van range.

“Our Business Centres are designed to support small businesses, and recognise that many local traders require both cars and vans. Rather than having to shop in two different places they can come to a specialist to discuss their requirements,” explained Charles Peugeot, head of Citroen commercial vehicles and business sector sales, Citroen. “We see the business sector as a mixture of retail and business sales and have business trained staff to support them.”

Peugeot said he expected the Centre’s business managers to become fully engrossed in the local business community. “Citroen is committed to delivering even greater levels of customer service than our competitors, which will be spearheaded by our Business Centre programme,” he added.
