Business Car Manager verdict
Dacia has made its mark in the UK as a “shockingly affordable” no-discount brand aimed largely at retail buyers. Thus the business case for a car like the Duster might seem a bit tenuous, at first glance.
However you slice it, though, you are getting a lot of bang for your buck and with this version of the Dacia Duster, CO2 emissions, economy and company car tax numbers are on the pace for a compact SUV.
Factor in low overall running costs and a price point that undercuts the closest rivals by some £5000-plus, and you have quite an enticing proposition, offset by the fact that Dacia is not really supporting the UK business sector, as such.
Still, there’s a cheerful unpretentiousness to our Dacia Duster review car that soon wins you over. That it’s a decent drive is the icing on the cake. For the company car driver on a budget, in the market for a simple, tough SUV, here is your car.
