We are committed to focusing on all elements of a person’s ‘journey’ and not just the provision of a car, van or a lease product

BUSINESS travel experts Alphabet have appointed an industry outsider to the new role of general manager, customer relationship management.

Debbie Jenkins, who will report directly to chief commercial officer Martin Quail, joined from outside the fleet leasing and mobility industry, bringing “a deep appreciation of account management, customer service and customer experience.”

She spent 15 years at Alternative Networks/ICB, an information technology and services company, in a variety of roles including heading up client management, service management and enterprise service.

Commenting on her new role, she said: “I am incredibly excited to be joining the Alphabet business and look forward to working with such a vibrant and forward-thinking team.”

Martin Quail said: “We are committed to focusing on all elements of a person’s ‘journey’ and not just the provision of a car, van or a lease product. It’s about people and how we engage with them in an energised and relevant way.”

Martin continued “We operate in a mature market with tried and tested approaches to business and customer engagement, therefore we were looking for someone different.

“Deborah impressed us with her ability to think outside the box and to bring a fresh perspective from the start. Her articulate and decisive manner, along with her extensive experience in customer relationship management, made her an obvious choice for the role. We are delighted to welcome Deborah to the Alphabet Family.”
