While I wouldn’t want dull and boring personally, nevertheless the proliferation of choice is an issue. Where do you start with your new car decision? Standard hatchback, crossover estate, SUV style – all based around the same car?
As a company car driver, what car suits you from, say, the BMW or Mercedes ranges? There’s a mind-boggling amount of choice. What’s correct for business – a Mercedes C-Class or a CLA class? Maybe both, but which to go for?
And more to the point, would your SME director responsible for the firm’s company cars sign it off because they don’t understand what it is?
“Just what is this BMW 4 Series, Jones?”
It’s an issue, that’s for sure.
Perhaps Nissan has a point with the new Nissan Pulsar. Perhaps boring really is good.
Pulsar. No. Really?
