Daily rental firm Europcar has agreed an exclusive arrangement with Volkswagen to provide the Volkswagen Tiguan on its fleet.

There will be 100 Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0-litre TDI S models available from Europcar’s Heathrow and Gatwick locations.
Awareness of the vehicle’s availability is being supported by an e-marketing campaign. This drives ‘Tiguan’ searches in Google to the Europcar booking site.

The Tiguan will be displayed as a specific vehicle rather than as part of a car group.

The VW Tiguan SUV features VW’s 4MOTION four-wheel drive and a Euro 5 compliant 140PS diesel engine with six-speed transmission.

The rear bench, which can be moved fore and aft to liberate extra leg or luggage room, provides seating for three passengers. With the rear seats folded, the Tiguan has a load volume of up to 1510 litres.

Standard equipment includes alloy wheels, air conditioning, MP3 compatible CD player, ABS with Hydraulic Brake Assist, Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP), head and curtain airbags plus twin front and side airbags.
