Fiat Bravo road test report

Fiat Bravo

Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-Jet 150 Active 5dr

What is it?

Replacement for the unloved Stilo reactivates the old Bravo name but in a five-door only body. Brought from computer screen to production in record time, the range includes 1.4 turbo versions with the power of a 2.0-litre but less weight. The two 1.9 turbodiesels have the same power outputs.

What’s hot?

  • Those 120 and 150bhp 1.4 turbos pull pretty well
  • Styling is wedgy, modern and far removed from boxy Stilo
  • Lots of equipment including Microsoft-designed multimedia
  • Rides well and is quiet on the move
  • Top models
