FORD has started making the Frod Mondeo Hybrid at its factory at Valencia in Spain. It is the first hybrid model Ford has made in Europe, although the company has already produced over 400,000 such vehicles in North America.
The Ford Mondeo Hybrid pairs a 2.0-litre petrol engine with an electric motor, achieving a combined fuel consumption of 67.3 mpg and CO2 emissions of 99g/km.
The Ford Mondeo Hybrid is available as a four-door saloon and prices will start at £24,995 when it goes on sale in December.
