Ford Transit - most reliable van on the road

Ford Transit: getting the job done – reliably

…and Ford the most reliable van maker

IF YOU want to get the job done, then do it in a Ford Transit.

And if a Transit is too big, then the smaller Transit Connect is also top notch when it comes to reliability.

The reliability research was conducted among the contract hire and leasing sector. Each leasing company was asked to rate the vehicles they have on their fleet.

In total, the reliability survey covered 183,000 light commercial vehicles and 840,000 cars (see Honda Civic is most reliable car).

Overall, Ford was named as the most reliable van manufacturer ahead of Mercedes and Volkswagen.

Stephen Briers, editor of industry paper Fleet News that conducted the survey, commented: “This survey is based on feedback from those who really know about the reliability of vehicles – people who run hundreds of thousands of vehicles over many hundreds of thousands of miles.”
