No minimum spend and cost-effective administration

There is no minimum monthly spend for fuelGenie customers, and there are also no fees or hidden surcharges.

fuelGenie offers an online service to businesses that can be accessed at any time, at no cost to themselves. Businesses can view their account, set a spending limit, and order new cards on their portal.

In addition, account information can be updated, direct debit details can be viewed and users can access previous monthly invoices and transaction reports for up to twelve months. Spending and usage reports can also be generated and downloaded to Microsoft Excel.

Driver incentives

Drivers themselves can gain loyalty points from each transaction, for example, Tesco Clubcard points, Morrisons Match & More and now Nectar points if they choose to fill up at Sainsbury’s forecourts.

This will incentivise drivers who may prefer the convenience of stopping at the nearest motorway filling station, as they can save points to earn money off their shopping or other treats for the family. At the same time, they will be saving their employees money when they fill up.

Claire Alderson continued;

“fuelGenie is free to apply for – once the application process is complete, the clients’ drivers are issued with cards. They just pay the pump price for the fuel and every month they receive a transaction invoice with details of all activity that has taken place on their account for that period.”
