Auto Windscreens’ website: ptimised for viewing on a smartphone

Auto Windscreens has launched an optimised version of its website specifically for business users with smartphones.

These include both the iPhone and Blackberry.

The new site makes booking an automotive glazing repair or replacement job online easier, says Auto Windscreens.

Among the features highlighted are the company’s UK-wide network of fitting centres or contacting Auto Windscreens.

The fully functional mobile internet site is designed to capitalise on the growing number of visitors to its website, launched last October, says Auto Windscreens.

Found at www.autowindscreens.co.uk, the site automatically detects if the visitor is using a smartphone. And adapts content accordingly.

Additionally, users accessing the website via a mobile phone will benefit from a location finder. This provides directions to the nearest fitting centre.

“We’ve seen a dramatic increase in mobile traffic to our website since its re-launch last year making this the perfect time for us to launch a made-for-mobile proposition,” commented Nigel Davies, sales & marketing director, Auto Windscreens.

“I am delighted with the new mobile phone specific website. It offers the best of Auto Windscreens’ current website in an accessible and easy to view format.”
